Operating Temperatures: This sauna can heat up to 130f - 140f.

 

The length of time to heat to full temperature will depend on the current room temperature. If your sauna is located in a room of 70f, it should heat to 120f in 15-30 minutes, which is the most commonly used temperature. Higher temperatures will be reached shortly after depending on the amount of power you have allotted for the sauna's power source.

Wall Construction:This sauna is built of solid wood, double wall tongue and groove construction. Approx. 40 boards are used in the wall construction to ensure tight fits and reduce heat loss.

Wood Finish: The interior of this sauna is a smooth sanded finish. No glazes or glosses are used on the inside to prevent against any possible off-gas. The exterior is a water based finish to give your sauna a polished furniture appeal.

Innerlock Latching System :
Your sauna will come with a fast and east wall connection that requires no tools to assemble. No screws to lose, simple and secure. Latch style varies with sauna series.

Window and Door Glass: All windows and doors come standard with tempered glass. Tempered glass is required to ensure that in the event that the glass were to break, it would not break like plate glass and have dangerous shards. Tempered glass will simply shatter into non dangerous peices.

What is the difference between the Ceramic Heaters and the Carbon Heaters?

Both heaters will provide the same health benefits and will do the same job. However, the heat distribution differs between the two heaters. If you are interested in using the sauna for a quick intense sweat, ceramic would be the best choice. Carbon is favored as the heat is more comfortable and makes it easier to relax in the sauna longer and will still provide an intense sweat. Carbon heaters are also more commonly used for those with a condition or disease in which the infrared can improve health and well-being.

Ceramic Heaters

• Have a high emissivity (degree at which material can emit)
• On average lasts about 9,000 hours
• Rod shaped for optimum FIR dispersement
• Made of true ceramic
• Does not have a large surface area but because they are enclosed in a reflective plate the far infrared is able to target a large portion of the body
• Ceramic heaters have the fastest warm up time to produce a very intense heat that will allow you to sweat within minutes

What is the difference between Hemlock and Cedar?

The wood of the sauna does not add or remove from the saunas efficiency. The choice of the wood is merely for cosmetic reasons. It all depends on what you would like to see every time you see your sauna. If you have any alergic reactions to certain woods, you would want to choose a hemlock wood sauna. Cedar wood does have a natural pleasent smell which may affect a small number of people in the world. Most steam saunas are made from cedar wood for the reason that bacteria will not grow on the cedar, making it a great choice for a sauna.

What kind of output do the heaters provide?

Within this wide spread of frequencies, the 5.6-15µ range is the most therapeutic to the human body, split evenly between the 9.4µ pivot point of peak human output. The Infrared elements are designed to operate within this range to maximize the effectiveness of your therapy. These wavelengths can penetrate the body's tissues to a depth of 1.5 to 3 inches. Due to the deep penetration of infrared rays, a heating effect is observed deep in the muscular tissues and even into the internal organs, meaning you perspire far more than you do in a traditional sauna.

Hard to reach impurities are eliminated through your skin using lower, comfortable temperatures.

Far Infrared Emissions are up to 96% on both carbon and ceramic saunas. 

What is the difference between our saunas and more expensive saunas?

There are alot of saunas on the market that claim to be more than they actually are. Many are over priced and make wild claims about their heaters being superior. The fact is that all the heaters are basically the same with all sauna manufacturers. The reason you see the same basic type saunas for thousands of dollars more than the ones listed on this website is simple; the company does not buy direct from the factory. Sometimes there are 2 or 3 companies in the middle marking up the product to such as higher price. We cut all of that away to bring you the best bottom dollar price.

Shipping Information

Once an order is placed and your payment has cleared we begin to process your order. This is usually done in about 24hrs. Then the order is sent to our 66,000 sq.ft. warehouse to be pulled from our large inventory. We then crate your sauna and then labeled for shipping. Once all of this is done your sauna is ready to be picked up and it begins its journey to you! Our customers normally can receive their saunas, depending on their location, within 3-7 business days.

We ship out your sauna using a freight company. They will pick up your sauna from our warehouse and transport it to your location. We can provided you with a tracking number for your sauna once it has been picked up from our location and let you know what freight company is transporting it. Once the sauna arrives in your area, the freight company will contact you to set up a delivery appointment. You will make all the arrangements for delivery with them; remember that we only offer curbside delivery. This means they are only obligated to deliver it at the end of your driveway. We do offer free lift gate where they will unload it from their truck for you.

The saunas come in two (2) boxes or (3) three boxes, depending on the sauna, that are carefully crated and palletized. The different size saunas range in shipping weight.

Infrared Sauna Warranty

This warranty is provided for all Under The Sun Saunas purchased with their dealers Weatherfield Knolls.

Lifetime limited warranty on wood, electrical parts, heaters and controllers and radio system.

Weatherfield Knoll is an authorized broker/dealer for Under The Sun Saunas and all sauna orders go directly to our distributor who in turn fills your order and handles ALL the customer service and warranty issues. 

In order to get you the best possible price and the newest models, all sauna stock is warehoused with our distributor and shipped to you directly from our distributor.  There will times when stock availability on some sauna models may be back-ordered. 

We at Weatherfield Knolls will notify you immediately if such a back-order situation exists on the model you ordered and will offer you a full and immediate refund if you decide to cancel.

BEFORE you sign any papers from the freight company driver, make sure to note on the Bill of Lading (BOL) any signs of damage and/or any missing pieces.  The number of pieces on the pallet is on the BOL, DO NOT sign for anything less without making a note in writing on the BOL before you sign.  Only by making notes of any damage and/or any missing pieces on the BOL can a freight damage/loss be filed by you with any success.
 

Due to Federal Health regulations, we CANNOT take back used Saunas for any reason.  Those items can only be repaired or defective parts replaced  per their warranty.

Refusal to have Warranty work performed and/or refusal to have defective sauna parts replaced will result in your being fully responsible for ALL shipping charges to and from Under The Sun Distribution and the sauna must be returned in its original boxes and packing material.

Your Under The Sun Sauna may not match the photo in this listing exactly because different lumber harvests will result in different shades of wood color.  Also the manufacturer may at any time make some changes to the sauna in order to improve its performance and efficiency.

THIS UNIT IS MEANT FOR INDOOR USE ONLY. WARRANTY IS VOIDED IF INFRARED SAUNA IS PLACED IN AN OUTDOOR ENVIRONMENT.

This warranty shall not apply to any product or component used in any industrial, rental, club or commercial purpose.
