This beautiful teacup with matching saucer is from my own mother's collection. They are at the very least 50 years old, and are in perfect condition. No chips, cracks, nor stains. The cup has a few drops of green paint under the glazing, which means that they are there from the manufacturing proccess. The overall design on both pieces is green shamrocks on a white background...with a sprig of shamrocks inside the cup bowl. Gold rims the outer edge of the saucer, while the cup is gold trimmed at the top and the base, as well as along the handle. Tight scolloping is present along the upper rim of the cup & also on the edge of the saucer. Both pieces are stamped "Aynsley England Bone China" with handwritten numbers 0944 on the bottoms. From base to cup rim measures approximately 2.5 inches, across is just short of 3.5 inches. The saucer measures 5.5 inches and bows up about .75 inches. It would be a fabulous addition to any collector's treasures.
A $1.75 handling fee is added to cover the cost of insurance & extra packing.
